As E-bike batteries continue to increase in capacity, manufacturers are looking for charging solutions that deliver higher power without sacrificing size, efficiency, or reliability.
To address this challenge, ST Charger has upgraded one of its compact charger platforms, increasing continuous output power from 230W to 360W–420W while maintaining the same enclosure dimensions of just 190 × 80 × 45 mm. This represents up to a 55% increase in power density without increasing charger size.

The upgraded platform achieves efficiency levels of up to 95% through an advanced Bridgeless PFC + LLC topology, optimized thermal management, and improved power conversion design. More input energy is converted into usable charging power, reducing energy loss and heat generation while maintaining stable continuous output.
For E-bike manufacturers, the higher-power platform provides greater design flexibility without requiring larger charger compartments or major system changes. For riders, it means faster charging and improved portability without added bulk.
Innovation is not always about making products bigger. Sometimes, it’s about delivering more performance within the same footprint.
By increasing output power from 230W to 420W without enlarging the enclosure, ST Charger continues to push the boundaries of power density, helping E-bike manufacturers deliver faster charging and better user experiences without compromising space, efficiency, or reliability.
